Description

This guy was a beast to color. Also to design clothes for.

Name: Tykaas of [insert tribe name here ouo ] (I haven't decided on that yet either |D )

Species: Tuul'Tuul

Tykaas is a Surface Dweller (Tuulimede name for species' who live on the surface of their home planet.). It is highly paranoid and a tad unintelligent looking thanks to its long tongue hanging out. Its tongue is rather sticky and can be used to trap dozens of little parasitic airborne species for consumption. Tykaas' species is very tribal like in lifestyle thus its attire. They paint on thick patterns that denote their status within their community. To other species' it is hard to determine what kind of marking means what though. A Tuul'Tuul is a sort of preying mantis/grasshopper creature with a few elements resembling a venus fly trap. Their back legs are good for kicking, jumping and landing from great distances with no harm. Their arms are fairly unusable for precision details as they are giant pincers/claws. They do make for a decent defense alongside their foot claws and biting tails. Tuul'Tuuls are fairly docile creatures by nature that will not start fights if at all avoidable. They are rather flighty and would prefer to run than to stay and fight. Living on the surface has them largely paranoid of being eaten by the beasts of the sky and thus they often walk about as if they were hunted every moment. Tykaas itself operates as an informant to the Tuulimede and also a guide through some terrain. In its own tribe it is a scout/lookout. It doesn't communicate with the Tuulimede verbally very often although it is capable of it if it rolls its tongue back up.
