Qwuedeviv Hair-like Fur Guidelines

Qwuedeviv do not possess natural hair, however if you like the look of hair there are a few creative ways around it. You have to keep some technicalities in mind though.

One of the first things you need to keep in mind is the limitations of the fur. Any hair like markings they have will need to be at a length that their fur could feasibly go to, so most of your longer, true hair -like styles won’t work because that would require their fur to be several different lengths. The tufts of fur may be a different color however and you are welcome to make the entire back of the head a different color as well. The fluffier the ‘deviv is the more you’ll have to work with.

A Qwuedeviv is allowed to style its fur if it wants, but as stated above you need to keep in mind the overall length. See the examples above for a vague idea of what I mean.

The other option you have is to work creatively with their sensors. Sensors are something all ‘devivs possess. They often look like tufts of fur on their heads, but at times they may be thinner or spikier—the little hair like strands on Pokeyoo’s head for example are actually sensors. Licorice Gumdrop would be a good example of something you can do with sensors. It does not possess hair, however it bundles its sensors together and thus it appears like long hair.

Dying a Qwuedeviv’s head fur is acceptable, so is cutting it shorter or off entirely. It just can’t be significantly longer than the rest of the fur.

The final things to keep in mind are the type of ‘deviv you are working with. Arctics, Commons and Tropicals are the most likely typed for this to work on. Aquatic have very very short fur as do most Desert, so these types would be harder to work with. If you have any questions though, feel free to contact an admin and we will help you with your particular case.

Lily's "hair" actually is the elongation of her sensors due to an experiment.
Is that okay?
