Description

Invader Name: Pokeyoo Wif’Needul

Official Name: Inquos Vuuxza’bah

Height: 5’11’’

Technical Gender: Male

Nickname: Pokeyoo, Needul, Inquos

Age: 26

Species: Mixed Qwuedeviv with Aquatic Properties

Official Specialty: Medical

Rank: Medical Corps Officer

Disguised As: A crazy doctor ninja

Appearance: Pokeyoo is primarily white. It has gills on its chest and neck though. Three black spots are underneath the mask of orange over its eyes. It has a single orange stripe from its neck clear down to the tip of its tail as to the outside of both arms and from its underarm down to the tip of its toe on the outside. Its tail has a fin near the base that is a reddish orange with green-blue in between. Further along its tail it has appendages attached to the side known as a comb. This comb is similar to the leg structure of the mantis shrimp, also reddish orange in color with white and orange fibrous matter on their undersides. It has four long appendages on its back as well that fall somewhere between the lines of tentacles and skin flaps. Its eyes are an emerald green.

Pokeyoo’s disguise—if one can call it that—is very similar to their invader uniform, consisting of a black hooded short sleeve Qwuedeviv uniform jacket and the usual ‘pants’ style of the Qwuedeviv. It also wears somewhat minty green gloves.
It may wear other odds and ends, but these comprise its primary appearance.

Personality:
Pokeyoo has two very distinctly different aspects to its personality. To outsiders of Crew 52, Pokeyoo goes out of its way to behave and appear creepy if not a tad insane. It can actually be fairly hostile and cold towards those it views as a threat. However, the more well-known personality of Pokeyoo is its fun loving, egotistical, uninfluenceable self.
Pokeyoo has a reputation of purposefully being a jerk; it will even openly admit to this being true. Pokeyoo has very little regard for its public image when it comes to having fun and is known for being absolutely outrageous and downright immature. The other medics cannot stand Pokeyoo’s seemingly reckless and spur of the moment thinking style.
Unfortunately for all of Crew 52, Pokeyoo’s fun loving, playful nature extends to its profession as well. Needless to say, Crew 52 is not very fond of Pokeyoo functioning as their medic. It may know what it’s doing, but that doesn’t mean the Qwuedeviv will make all take place as quickly and painless as possible. Pokeyoo forever sacrifices such commodities for the sake of a laugh—usually at the patient’s expense.
Pokeyoo becomes easily bored and lonely thus it is constantly found harassing one of the other Crew Units until it gets some form of satisfactory response—usually negative. To top it off, Pokeyoo is an incredibly egotistical, arrogant know it all. This side is seen more prominently when dealing with—and ignoring—other medics. Totally confident of its skills and knowledge, it is self-assured that it is never wrong in any situation regardless to how wrong it may ‘seem.’

Pokeyoo definitely knows all the best ways to make everyone lose their temper and exploits it at the worst possible of times. Most of the time, Pokeyoo is the only one left laughing at its plethora of jokes and pranks.

Still, even despite its outward show, Pokeyoo is quite concerned about the well-being of Crew 52 and does watch out for them. Considering its entire job as a medic is to watch out for their health and safety, it is no huge surprise that the Qwuedeviv is a bit protective over its friends even if it has a weird way of showing it.
Pokeyoo is incredibly sharp and learns new things impressively fast—if it wants to. It is definitely a solo operative though as working with other medics just brings out its egotistical nature. It can be a horribly stubborn creature.

The entire attitude Pokeyoo shows is actually what it considers to be friendly. Constantly bugging of others and intense trollary is its way of saying hi. If Pokeyoo actually dislikes someone—which is surprisingly rare—it becomes rather hostile; by far more ready to fight and far less taunting and playful. It will observe from a distance, usually glaring and without much to say.

Background:
Growing up, Pokeyoo was the annoying little tag along to Spork and DN Refrigerate. It usually was uninvited, but that never got the Qwuedeviv down. Pokeyoo was always ready to show off its knowledge and so DN Refrigerate was a fantastic ‘patient’ for it since the Qwuedeviv often had colds and such. It was never liked by Spork, but Pokeyoo ignored Spork’s grouchy disposition and would freely taunt it regardless.

No one liked it in medical school. Pokeyoo was never a team player and tended to do things its own way without asking any of the others on its team what approach they wanted to take. Needless to say it caused a lot of strife and irritation.

Eventually some of the head medics decided to go ahead and let Pokeyoo be a one-cat team with the intentions of teaching it that it would just have to compromise sometimes. The plan backfired though when Pokeyoo was in fact able to keep up with the others and actually do better than it had been before—since it wasn’t hindered by the others messing up its plans.

With that having failed, they simply ordered it to return to working as a team with the others. Although Pokeyoo technically complied, it resumed its normal behavior once again. With complete disregard for all the trouble it got itself in, it stubbornly insisted on doing things its own way.

Unlike the other medics, Pokeyoo preferred to be out in the field still—away from the crowds of the medical branch. It still enjoyed going along for the routine combat exercises with the other Qwuedeviv—which many a medic found strange.

It didn’t take long for them to figure out that Pokeyoo would make for a great Field Medic. The job wasn’t exactly glamorous and certainly not a fought over position, but it suited Pokeyoo just fine.

Pokeyoo trained officially as a Field Medic with side courses of bioengineering. It also unofficially trained with the Stealth units just for the fun of it. It has assisted other crews before, never staying anywhere for very long. Part of this comes from the fact that the other crews cannot stand Pokeyoo’s personality and request a change.

This doesn’t seem to bother Pokeyoo. As far as Field Medics go, Pokeyoo has an impressive amount of experience. Crew 52’s scouting mission is its first time off planet with this particular crew, although it knew a lot of the units in it beforehand. That and the crew had been assembled for quite some time on Qwuh-9 before being sent off.

One thing worth noting however is despite its generally uncalled for behavior it won’t let the others die under its care if it can help it. Still, it seems a lot of the time its patients would prefer death.

Random Facts:
Being on Pokeyoo’s bad side is not something desirable for sure.

Pokeyoo likes to make things unpleasant and awkward...in a fairly legitimate medical sense anyway. Pokeyoo is fully capable of being gentle with its patients, but it chooses not to be.

Pokeyoo likes to antagonize the rest of the crew, despite the fact they think it is being intentionally a jerk—which to an extent is true—it also shows it likes them in such a manner.

Although most Qwuedeviv fear and avoid Spork, Pokeyoo has no particular terror about the interrogator. In fact, it actually thinks Spork is “funny.”

Pokeyoo has a very casual approach to things. Not much will ruffle its fur, but when something does, Pokeyoo doesn’t let it go too quickly.

Pokeyoo has a habit of undermining some of the other Medics. This has caused quite a big rift between them. The others assume Pokeyoo thinks it is better than them, when actually it just doesn't care what approach they think is good and does its own thing. Either way, Pokeyoo is rejected by the majority of the Qwuedeviv in the medical field with the exception of a few of the higher ranking officers and a couple of its former instructors.

After observing many old Earthian films with mad doctors and scientists, Pokeyoo decided that this was how all doctors sound. So sometimes at random it will mimic a German or Russian sounding accent—this happens even more than normal if speaking of or with Earthians.
